National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense: The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security have designated Northampton Community College as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD).

Gain critical hands-on experience protecting and defending computer systems and networks. Our lab-based courses in topics like LANs, Linux, cybersecurity administration, and ethical hacking prepare you for industry certifications in SEC+, CySA+, CISSP, and CEH. In the cybersecurity associate degree, you will plan, implement and monitor networking and security systems, as well as identify, analyze, and remediate computer security breaches.
